Stratafield

The firm

Built by people who have written the law and shipped the system.

Stratafield exists because the hardest public and regulated problems don't respect the line between policy and engineering. We registered in Estonia, a state that treats digital governance as infrastructure, and we work wherever the problem is.

Principles

How we work.

01

Rules and systems, designed together

A law no system can enforce fails. So does a system no law authorises. We work on both at once.

02

Decision-ready, always

Every deliverable ends in something a leader can sign, fund or reject: a draft, a roadmap, a build.

03

The right bench for the mandate

A small senior core, with specialists from our network added when the problem calls for them and not otherwise.

04

Ownership transfers

We document, train and hand over. Success means the client does not need us for the same thing twice.

05

Discretion by default

We work in sensitive settings, including whistleblower testimony, security reviews and pre-publication drafts. Confidentiality is part of how we are built.

“Strata” are the layers every decision rests on. The field is wherever the work is.

Network

A bench, assembled per mandate.

Our core team is small and senior. Around it is a network of specialists we have worked with on government programmes, multilateral assignments, research collaborations and non-profit initiatives. We bring them in when a mandate needs them, under Stratafield's contract, standards and accountability.

Bring us the problem between the layers.

A draft law that needs a system, a system that needs a mandate, or a programme that needs rescuing. A principal replies within two business days.
